After inspecting <code class=\"inline-code\">\/var\/log\/pacman.log<\/code>\u00a0to see what changed, I found this line:<\/p>\n<p><code class=\"inline-code\">warning: \/etc\/profile installed as \/etc\/profile.pacnew<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Updated packages were filesystem, perl, srt and sudo.<\/p>\n<p><code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile<\/code>\u00a0is used to set system wide environmental variables on users shells.<\/p>\n<p><code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile<\/code>\u00a0contained appendpath function declaration,\u00a0<code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile.pacnew<\/code>\u00a0contained append_path<\/p>\n<p>If that is also your case, try renaming<br \/>\n<code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile<\/code>\u00a0=&gt;\u00a0<code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile.old<\/code><br \/>\n<code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile.pacnew<\/code>\u00a0=&gt;\u00a0<code class=\"inline-code\">\/etc\/profile<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Hope it helps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>https:\/\/forum.endeavouros.com\/t\/bash-append-path-command-not-found\/8049 This happened to me after last system update.
